Al Nassr star Cristiano Ronaldo recently unveiled his personal museum in Riyadh. This exhibit features an array of memorabilia that captures pivotal moments and accolades from Ronaldo’s distinguished career, echoing a similar exhibition in his hometown, Funchal.
The event garnered attention as Ronaldo posed beside a statue of himself, reminiscent of a past sculpture that sparked controversy.
This is My Story. From Madeira to Saudi Arabia my CR7 Signature Museum now open in Riyadh,” the museum’s official account wrote on Instagram.
Social media critics playfully noted perceived inaccuracies in the statue, commenting on changes in Ronaldo’s hairstyle and comparisons to other footballers.
Nonetheless, the museum showcases individual awards earned throughout Ronaldo’s career, complemented by replicas of major honors attained with the Portuguese national team and his previous clubs.
Turki Al Sheikh, the head of the Saudi Entertainment Authority, had previously announced the museum’s launch during the Riyadh Season festival.
