On away trips the food is usually prepared by the hotel where the players are based before and after the match. Post game it is usually served in the dressing room or on the team bus that takes the players to the airport or directly back to Barcelona
Goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen made the most exotic choice, requesting ‘Sushi and a chocolate spread sandwich’, while most of his teammates opted for a pizza of some kind.
The simplest was served to Lionel Messi, who asked for a ‘Cheese pizza’, his fearsome attacking colleagues decided to go for ham and cheese. Luis Suarez accompanied it with a Caesar salad, while Neymar went for some fruit.
