Inter Miami sell out season tickets for 2024 season as Lionel Messi fever continues… despite fan backlash to ‘f***ing disrespectful’ price hike

Inter Miami has sold out its season tickets for the 2024 campaign, the team announced – two months after fans fumed over a ‘f***ing disrespectful’ rise in prices.

The club shared Thursday on its official X account that no more 2024 season tickets remained, but said that fans could soon buy single-match tickets.

Soccer fans on X did not seem to be surprised by the news, as several chalked the development up to the ‘Messi effect.’

The announcement follows the club’s huge price increase for the forthcoming season, with the cheapest season ticket for 2023 ($485) nearly doubling in cost ($884).

A ticket in the Midfield Club – a lower-level seat – costs $7,650 for next season when last season it was $3,600.

And Miami supporters were not happy when the prices changes went into effect in September.

‘F***ing disrespectful towards your loyal fans,’ one fumed on X. ‘My 2023 season ticket plan was $485 and it has now increased to $884.’

We still don’t have a real stadium and the improvement in play quality doesn’t reflect the 82% increase in pricing.’

Another wrote: ‘Just looked up my invoice from last season and I have a 83% increase. Also last season they offered a 10-month payment plan. The renewal has 8. This is the price of loyalty in Miami.’

A different fan claimed to have been quoted five times as much for the same tickets for next season, saying: ‘Try 5 times as much! Paid $2,200 this season, quoted $10,710. Enjoyed it while it lasted.’
